Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Eastern Africa to the Indo-Malaysian Archipelago, Taiwan, Philippines, and northern Australia
Size: Up to 3 inches (7.5 cm)
Natural Environment: Inhabit outer reef slopes and surge channels in coral reefs at depths between 3 - 30 feet (1 - 10 m)
General Husbandry: Has a temperature range of 76 - 82°F (25 - 28°C). Natural diet consists mostly of zooplankton and algae. Requires a meaty diet with some algae with two or three feedings per day. A good reef aquarium species, as it won't harm any invertebrate. Can be kept in small groups if all added at the same time. Provide numerous hiding places.
