Species Name: Chrysiptera hemicyanea (Weber, 1913)
Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: northwest Australia and Indonesia
Size: Up to 2 inches (5 cm)
Natural Environment: Inhabit shallow lagoons and inshore coral reefs, usually among branching corals at depths between 3 to 40 feet (1 - 13 m)
General Husbandry: Has a temperature range of 72 - 82°F (22 - 28°C). Natural diet consists mainly of zooplankton. Requires a meaty diet with some algae with two or three feedings per day. Often confused with C. parasema, as it has similar yellow coloration's with the amount of yellow depending upon where it comes from.
