Range: Western Pacific Ocean: Japan and Philippines

Size: Up to 1.5 inches (4 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabit coastal reefs and found under ledges during the day

General Husbandry: Has a temperature range of 72 - 83°F (22 - 28°C) and natural diet consists mainly of small crustaceans. Will accept a wide variety of meaty foodstuffs and should have vitamin enriched foods with at least two feeding per day. Their diet should contain a color enhancer, such as Spirulina. Prefers a dimly lit environment with caves and can be maintained in small groups. Rarely seen in the trade.
