Range: Indo-Pacific Ocean: Thailand and Malaysia to Solomon Islands, north to Ryukyu and Bonin Islands, south to northwestern Australia and Great Barrier Reef
Size: Up to 5.5 inches (14 cm)
Natural Environment: Inhabit coastal reefs and found over rubble areas at a depth of 10 to 200 feet (3 - 60 m)
General Husbandry: Has a temperature range of 72 - 77°F (22 - 25°C) and natural diet consists mainly of inverts found on sponges and may also eat zooplankton. Easily maintained in the aquarium and will accept a wide variety of foodstuffs. However, rarely seen in the trade.
