Range: Western Pacific Ocean: Thailand north to southern Japan
Size: up to 7 inches (17 cm)
Natural Environment: Inhabit rocky and coral reefs at a depth of 10 to 80 feet (3 - 25 m)
General Husbandry: Has a temperature range of 72 - 79°F (22 - 26°C) and natural diet consists mainly of coral polyps and algae. Requires a variety of enriched meaty and green frozen foods with numerous feedings per day. Provide sufficient rock/cave areas and coral rubble areas. Rarely seen in the trade.
