Range: Southwestern Pacific Ocean: East Coast of Australia: Lowe Howe and Norfolk Islands
Size: up to 6 inches (15 cm)
Natural Environment: Inhabits lagoons rich in coral growth at a depth of 10 to 100 feet (3 - 30 m)
General Husbandry: Has a temperature range of 68 - 76°F (20 - 24°C) and even though little is known about this species, its diet is probably the same as most butterflyfish, i.e., natural diet consists mainly of coral polyps and benthic invertebrates.
