Range: Western Pacific Ocean to southern Japan
Size: up to 6 inches (15 cm)
Natural Environment: Inhabits coastal rubble slopes and mostly collected at about 80 foot (25 m) depths
General Husbandry: Has a temperature range of 72 - 82°F (25 - 28°C) and even though little is known about this species, its diet is probably the same as most butterflyfish, i.e., natural diet consists mainly of coral polyps and benthic invertebrates.
