Range: Western Pacific Ocean: western Australia north to the Philippines and Indonesia
Size: up to 10 inches (25 cm)
Natural Environment: Inhabit steep drop-off areas between 30 - 130 feet (10 - 40 m)
General Husbandry: Require a temperature of 77 - 82°F (25 - 28°C) and their natural diet consists mainly of plankton. Rarely seen in the trade. Note, that even though it is a plankton feeder, H. singularius will pick on corals, therefore it is never suited for any type of reef aquarium."
