Range: Western Pacific Ocean: New Caledonia, Lord Howe Island, and southern Great Barrier Reef
Size: up to 5 inches (12 cm)
Natural Environment: Inhabit steep outer reef slopes/drop-off areas
General Husbandry: Prefer a water temperature of 70 - 79°F (21 - 26°C). Not normally found in the aquarium trade, shown here for identification purpose only. Yet, if available, needs a lot of swimming space with one male per tank.
