Range: Western Pacific Ocean: Taiwan and south to the Philippines, Indonesia and the northern portion of the Great Barrier Reef

Natural Environment: Inhabit steep reef faces and slopes/drop-off areas.

General Husbandry: Prefer a water temperature of 72 - 80°F (22 - 27°C). Require exceptional water quality, good water movement and numerous feedings per day. Diet consists mainly of meaty foodstuffs, e.g., mysis shrimp, enriched brine shrimp, and enriched fresh fish and shrimp flesh. Prefers a dimly lit tank with one male per tank.
