Range: Indo-Pacific Ocean: Maldive Islands to Vanuatu, north to Yaeyama Islands, Palau and Krosae in Micronesia
Size: up to 15 inches (38 cm)
Natural Environment: Inhabit areas near steep drop-offs or in protected lagoons and collected between depths of 15 to over 70 feet (5 - 20 m)
General Husbandry: Has a temperature range of 77 - 82°F (25 - 28°C) and their natural diet consists mainly of sponge, tunicates and some algae. Need a varied diet and numerous feeding per day. A popular aquarium fish.
