Species Name: Pomacanthus navarchus (Cuvier, 1831)
Range: Indo-Pacific Ocean: Indonesia, western Australia and New Guinea
Size: up to 10 inches (25 cm)
Natural Environment: Inhabit heavy coral growth areas and collected between depths of 10 to over 70 feet (3 - 20 m)
General Husbandry: Has a temperature range of 77 - 82°F (25 - 28°C) and their natural diet consists mainly of sponge and tunicates. Need a varied diet and numerous feeding per day. Usually a good aquarium fish, however it should be provided with cave and other hiding places.
