Common Name: Resplendent Pygmy Angelfish
Species Name: Centropyge resplendens Lubbock & Sankey, 1975
Range: Indo-Pacific Ocean: Helena and Ascension Islands
Size: up to 2.5 inches (6 cm)
Natural Environment: Inhabit rock and rubble areas between the depths of 50 to 130 feet (15 - 40 m)
General Husbandry: Has a wide temperature range - 70 - 82°F (21 - 28°C), and natural diet consists mainly of algae. It's a real beauty, yet fairly rare. Will harass aquarium newcomers and similar species, therefore should be the last fish introduced.
