Range: Western Indian Ocean: Mauritius, Reunion, and the Aldabra Group (Seychelles)
Size: up to 4.5 inches (9 cm)
Natural Environment: Inhabit steep outer reef slopes in fairly deep water, i.e., 150 to 250 feet (50 - 80 m)
General Husbandry: Has a temperature range of 77 - 82°F (25 - 28°C). Rare, and shown here for identification purposes only. Not much else is known about this species and doubt it's even available for the aquarium trade.
