Range: Western Pacific Ocean

Size: Up to 5 inches (12 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabit shallow bays, lagoon and reef areas

General Husbandry: Has a temperature range of 77 - 82°F (25 - 27ºC), and accepts a wide variety of foodstuffs, e.g. mysis shrimp, fortified brine shrimp, various meaty diced fish and shrimp flesh, and Spirulina flake. Should be fed a few times per day. Host anemones in the aquarium appear to be: Heteractis crispa and Stichodactyla haddoni. Wild specimens are rarely seen in the trade, and actually a poor choice. Captive-bred specimens are available, though difficult to find, are far the better choice! Usually non-aggressive and can be maintained in small groups.
