Species Name: Amphiprion perideraion Bleeker, 1855
Range: Western Pacific Ocean: Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, northern Australia
Size: Up to 4 inches (10 cm)
Natural Environment: Inhabit lagoon and shallow outer reef areas
General Husbandry: Has a temperature range of 77 - 82°F (25 - 27ºC), and accepts a wide variety of foodstuffs, e.g. mysis shrimp, fortified brine shrimp, various meaty diced fish and shrimp flesh, and Spirulina flake. Should be fed a few times per day. Host anemones in the aquarium appear to be: Heteractis crispa, H. magnifica, Macrodactyla doreensis, and Stichodactyla gigantea. Captive-bred specimens available. Should be among the first fishes to be added to the tank. Aggressive among themselves, yet, easily intimidated by rambunctious tankmates.
