Species Name: Amphiprion omanensis Allen & Mee, 1991


Range: Western Indian Ocean: Arabian Sea and Oman Sea


Size: Up to 5.5 inches (14 cm)


Natural Environment: Inhabit inshore reef areas at depths of 6 to 30 feet (2 - 10 m)


General Husbandry: Has a temperature range of 75 - 83°F (24 - 28°C). Rarely seen in the trade. Probably the same diet as other anemonefish, i.e., accepts a wide variety of foodstuffs, e.g. mysis shrimp, fortified brine shrimp, various meaty diced fish and shrimp flesh, and Spirulina flake and should be fed a few times per day. No information on host anemones.
