Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Japan to Australia and eastward to Samoa and Tonga.

Size: 3 inches (8 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits shallow protected sandy and weedy bottom areas and usually found at depths between 30 – 100 feet (10 – 30 m) where it feeds on benthic invertebrates and zooplankton.

General Husbandry: Not normally collected for the trade, yet if becoming available would have the same aquarium husbandry as others in this genus.
