Range: Indo-West Pacific: Bay of Bengal to Japan and Indonesia.

Size: 10 inches (25 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits soft bottom areas on rocky shorelines to deeper coastal slopes and usually found at depths between 40 to 85 feet (12 - 25 m) where it feeds mainly at benthic invertebrate and small fishes.

General Husbandry: Not normally collected for the trade.

FYI: Shown here for identification only, yet should it become available in the trade, aquarium husbandry is similar to P. schauinslandii.
