Range: Western Pacific Ocean: New Caledonia and Australia.

Size: 14 inches (35 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits inshore and offshore rocky and coral reefs and usually found at depths between 15 - 100 feet (5 – 30 m) where it sucks up the substrate to feed on various invertebrates.

General Husbandry: Has tannish body with several slanted broad dark brown bands. Not collected for the trade.
