Range: Western Pacific Ocean: Indo-Malayan Archipelago east to Moluccas and Mentawai Islands, north to Taiwan and Southern Japan.
Size: 4 inches (9 cm)
Natural Environment: Inhabits inshore and offshore reefs at depths between 15 to 200 feet (1 -60 m) and feeds on zooplankton, benthic invertebrates and algae.
General Husbandry: Somewhat unattractive, having a silverish body with a black spot at the base of the gills.
Not yet collected for the hobby.
