Range: Western Indian Ocean: Red Sea.

Size: 3 inches (6 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits inshore and offshore reefs at depths between 3 to 40 feet (1 -12 m) and feeds on zooplankton, benthic invertebrates and algae.

General Husbandry: Somewhat unattractive, having a brownish black body with juveniles having a white tail and adults a black tail.

Not yet collected for the hobby.
