Range: Southwest Atlantic Ocean: Brazil.

Size: 3 inches (7 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits shallow coastal open reef areas having rocky rubble bottom accumulations and major water circulation at depths between 10 to 80 feet (3 – 25 m) where it feeds mainly on planktonic crustaceans (copepods, mysis, and shrimp larvae), fish eggs, and algae.

General Husbandry: Quite attractive, having browish body with a yellow caudal peduncle and tail, with yellow on the aft portion of the dorsal fin.

Not yet collected for the hobby.
