Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Mozambique to Japan and south the northern Australia.

Size: 20 inches (50 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits various inshore reef areas and usually seen at depths to about 100 feet (30 m).

Aquarium Suitability: Not collected for the home aquarium trade.
