Range: Western Indian Ocean: Ocean: Red Sea, Gulf of Aqaba.

Size: 2 inches (5 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits shallow lagoon reef caves and usually found at depths between 20 – 50 feet (6 – 15 m) where it feeds on crustaceans/zooplankton during evening hours.

General Husbandry: Has an elongated transparent body with its lower jaw quite dark. As of 2016, not collected for the trade.
