Range: Indo-Pacific Ocean: Maldives to Society Islands, north to Philippines

Size: 2 inches (4 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits estuaries and bays on inshore reefs and usually found at depths between 3 – 50 feet (1 – 15 m) where it feeds on crustaceans/zooplankton during evening hours.

General Husbandry: Has a somewhat transparent body, with a white spot at the base of the rear dorsal fin. As of 2016, not collected for the trade.
