Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Indonesia to Fiji, north to Taiwan.

Size: 3 inches (7 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits shallow inner reefs and mangrove areas and usually found at depths between 3 – 25 feet (1 – 8 m) where it feeds on small fishes and crustaceans/zooplankton during evening hours.

General Husbandry: Has a somewhat silvery body with a small black spot on the caudal peduncle. As of 2016, not collected for the trade.
