Range: Eastern Indian Ocean: Andaman Sea to southwestern Sumatra.

Size: 3 inches (5 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits branching coral heads and rocky areas on seaward reefs and usually found at depths between 3 – 25 feet (1 – 8 m) where it feeds on small fishes and crustaceans/zooplankton during evening hours.

General Husbandry: Has a transparent somewhat silvery body with short blue lines just above and below the eyes, and a black spot on the caudal peduncle. As of 2016, not collected for the trade.
