Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Red Sea, south to Delagoa Bay Mozambique.

Size: 4 inches (10 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits inshore and deep offshore reef caves and usually found at depths between 3 – 150 feet (1 – 45 m) where it feeds on small fishes and crustaceans/zooplankton during evening hours.

General Husbandry: Has a transparent body with two black vertical bans on the central body and a third on the caudal peduncle. As of 2016, not yet purposely collected for the trade. However, should it become available, its aquarium husbandry would be similar to that of A. angustatus. Simply open that species to view those recommendations.
