Common Name: Sevenstriped Cardinalfish

Range: Indo-Pacific Ocean: Christmas Islands to the Line Islands, north to the Izu Islands, south to the Great Barrier Reef and Somoa

Size: 3.5 inches - 9 cm

Natural Environment: Inhabits shallow reef flats and lagoons

General Husbandry: Prefer a temperature range of 74 - 82°F (23 - 28°C). Feeds on zooplankton and benthic invertebrate at night. Not normally seen in the aquarium trade - shown here for identification only.
