Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Palau, Indonesia, Solomon Islands and Papua New Guinea.

Size: 2 inches (4 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits inshore reef caves and usually found at depths between 50 – 200 feet (15 – 60 m) where it feeds on small fishes and crustaceans/zooplankton during evening hours.

General Husbandry: Has a transparent body with a dark central horizontal bar on the frontal body. As of 2016, not yet purposely collected for the trade.
