Range: Western Central Atlantic Ocean: Southern Florida, Bahamas to Venezuela.

Size: 4 inches (11 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits exposed deep reefs and rocky outcroppings and usually found at depths between 65 – 300 feet (20 – 90 m) where it feeds during evening hours on small fishes and crustaceans/zooplankton.

General Husbandry: Has an overall pinkish body. As of 2016, not yet purposely collected for the trade. However, should it become available, its aquarium husbandry would be similar to that of A. angustatus. Simply open that species to view those recommendations.
