Range: Western Indian Ocean: Mauritius and Reunion.

Size: 5 inches (11 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits holes and crevices in rocky seaward reefs and usually found at depths between 50 – 100 feet (15 – 30 m) where it feeds on algae, benthic invertebrates and small fishes.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
