Range: Western Pacific Ocean: Queensland, New South Wales, and Lord Howe Island.

Size: 5 inches (13 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits seagrass beds and algae covered areas and usually found between depths of 3 – 30 feet (1 – 10 m) where it mainly feeds upon filamentous algae, diatoms, small crustaceans, and somewhat on fish scales and mucus.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
