Range: Mediterranean Sea and Black Sea.

Size: 3 inches (7 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits dimly lit areas with overhanging rocks and caves and usually found between depths of 20 – 40 feet (6 – 12 m) where it mainly feeds upon algae and detritus.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
