Range: Western Atlantic Ocean: Florida, Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean, Bahamas, and Bermuda.

Natural Environment: Inhabits shallow to deep fore reefs and usually seen at depths between 3 to 200 feet (1 - 60 m).

Aquarium Suitability: Not collected for the trade.
