Range: Southwest Pacific Ocean: New South Wales Australia, New Zealand, and Kermadec Islands.

Size: 3 inches (8 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits shallow rocky reefs and found on vertical wall faces with narrow cracks and also with sea urchins, and usually seen between depths of 3 – 10 feet (1 – 3 m) where it mainly feeds upon algae and benthic invertebrates.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
