Range: Eastern Pacific Ocean: Mexico to Peru.

Size: 13 inches (32 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits reef surge areas in local coastal reefs and usually found at depths between 10 – 150 feet (3 – 45 m) where it feeds on crustaceans/zooplankton.

General Husbandry: Not normally collected for the trade.
