Range: Western Indian Ocean: Red Sea and Gulf of Aden.

Size: 8 inches (20 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits fringing reefs near coral heads and usually found at depths between 3 – 65 feet (1 – 20 m) where it feeds on small fishes and crustaceans/benthic invertebrates.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
