Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Red Sea to Marshall Islands, and Samoa.

Size: 8 inches (20 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits caves in steep reef drop offs that contain soft corals and gorgonians and usually found at depths between 10 - 85 feet (3 - 25 m) where it feeds on small fishes and crustaceans/benthic invertebrates.

General Husbandry: Not purposely collected for the trade.
