Common Name: Tiger Angelfish, Kings Angelfish

Range: Western Indian Ocean: south Africa, between Kosi Bay and Aliwal Shoal, Mozambique

Size: 10 inches - 25 cm

Natural Environment: Inhabits sponge areas on rocky outer reef slopes

General Husbandry: Has a temperature range of 72 - 82°F (22 – 28°C). Feeds on sponges and tunicates and is rarely seen in the aquarium trade.

Aquarium Suitability: Has been reported as a good community fish, and quite hardy.
