Range: South Pacific: Subtropical Pacific from Great Barrier Reef to Pitcairn.

Size: 16 inches (40 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits seaward reefs and usually found at depths between 30 – 200 feet (10 – 60 m) where it feeds mainly on algae.

General Husbandry: Colors vary between sexes and its stage of growth (phase). Not collected for the trade.
