Range: Eastern Atlantic Ocean: Mauritania to the Congo.

Size: 24 inches (60 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits rocky coastal areas and usually found at depths between 3 – 50 feet (1 – 15 m) where it feeds mainly on algae.

General Husbandry: Colors vary between sexes and its stage of growth (phase). Not collected for the trade.
