Range: Western Indian Ocean: Red Sea and Gulf of Aden.

Size: 16 inches (40 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits protected coral slopes

General Husbandry: Males tend to be darkish green with several darker vertical body bars, while the females are overall darkish brown with several lighter vertical bars and blue lips. Not collected for the trade.
