Range: Indian Ocean: Maldives and western and central Indonesia.

Size: 16 inches (40 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits clear coastal and inner reefs and usually found at depths between 15 – 50 feet (5 – 15 m) where it feeds mainly on algae.

General Husbandry: Has an overall darkish body with a short pink vertical ban on the upper front body and a brownish pink tail. Not collected for the trade.
