Giant Jawfish

Range: Eastern Central Pacific Ocean: Baja California, Sea of Cortez, Revillegigedo Islands, and Costa Rica.

Size: 20 inches (50 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits rubble areas on local rocky reefs and is usually found at depths between 10 – 200 feet (3 – 60 m) where it feeds on small fishes, worms, and crustaceans.

General Husbandry: Has mottled grey and white body. Not collected for the trade.
