Range: Eastern Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean.

Size: 56 inches (140 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits rocky and sandy bottom areas in coastal reefs and is found at depths between 3 – 600 feet (1 – 180 m) where it feeds on small fishes and crustaceans.

General Husbandry: Adults have a greyish white body with numerous horizontal dark lines. Not collected for the trade.

Has a temperature range of 63 - 75°F (18 - 24°C).
