Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Yaeyama Islands, Southern Japan to the Great Barrier Reef.

Size: 5 inches (11 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits sandy and rubble bottom areas near coral reefs and usually found at depths between 10– 150 feet (3 – 45 m) where it feeds by sifting the sediment and consuming benthic invertebrate.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
