Natural Environment: Inhabits the surface areas of sponges

Note: Generally called the "Sponge Thread Worm." These small, up to 2 inches ( 5 cm) worms, are white and infest the surface areas of sponges. They have a proboscis that is used for piercing the tissue and sucking out vital body fluids. Remove if seen on aquarium sponges.
