Range: Western Atlantic Ocean: Florida, Bermuda, Bahamas, and Gulf of Mexico to Brazil.

Size: 8 inches (20 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits shallow coral and rocky reefs and usually found between depths of 3 – 40 feet (1 – 12 m) where it feeds upon small crustaceans.

General Husbandry: Not purposely collected for the trade.
